Job Description:

Verve Software is seeking a talented and experienced IoT Developer to join our dynamic team. As an IoT Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that will drive our clients’ business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT technologies into existing systems and create new solutions that enhance efficiency and connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop IoT applications and solutions that meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to design and implement IoT architectures.
• Develop and maintain firmware for IoT devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms and services to enable data collection, analysis, and remote management.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot IoT solutions to ensure they meet quality and functionality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest IoT technologies, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.
• Ensure IoT solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly in terms of security and data privacy.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the implementation and deployment of IoT solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IoT development, including working with IoT platforms, devices, and protocols.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
• Familiarity with communication protocols like MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, and Bluetooth.
• Experience with embedded systems and firmware development.
• Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning as they relate to IoT is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
